Avenged Sevenfold - Avenged Sevenfold ($13.99) [We made this record for the 18- to 25- year-old kid who just wants to blast some heavy stuff out his window something you can groove to and rock out to that means something. There s no glitz or glamor just a heavy-hitting record that encompasses all of Avenged Sevenfold. It s a record that new fansand old fans will love. M. Shadows]

Bob Dylan - Other Side of the Mirror: Live At Newport Folk Fes ($14.99) [Few performances in history are as legendary - or as controversial - as Bob Dylan's 1965 appearance at the Newport Folk Festival. In a single, galvanizing instant, Dylan plugged an entire generation in, forever changing not only the way the music was made, but the way it was heard. By putting you in the audience for Dylan's Newport performances from 1963 through that pivotal set in 1965, Academy Award-winning director Murray Lerner's The Other Side Of The Mirror captures Dylan's metamorphosis from the folk family's best-kept secret to rock's fiercely confrontational poet who would electrify an entire nation and become the voice of his generation.]

Franti Michael & Spearhead - 911 Power to the Peaceful '05 ($16.99) [When the attacks of September 11th, 2001 occurred, the festival took on a new significance, serving both as a day of remembrance for the lives lost in the tragedy as well as a day in which Northern Californians called for and end to all bombing around the globe. The 2002 and 2003 events offered a space for healing and compassion for all the people killed or displaced by terrorism and the war on terrorism. In 2004 the festival was themed 'Stand up and be Counted,' encouraging people to get out and vote. 2005's festival, themed 'Bring 'Em Home,' emphasized that the best way to support our troops is to bring them home now, and drew upwards of 50,000 attendees participating in a day of music, art and social justice.]

Levon Helm - Dirt Farmer ($13.99) [His first solo studio release in 25 years represents a rich return to his Southern roots. With co-production and musical support from daughter Amy (of Ollabelle) and multi-instrumentalist Larry Campbell (long a mainstay of Bob Dylan's band), Helm gives organic unity and rough-hewn vitality to a selection of Cajun fiddle waltzes, country blues, hardscrabble folk, and some more contemporary material (from the likes of Steve Earle and Buddy and Julie Miller). Following his recovery from throat cancer, Helm's voice has a slightly different timbre, but his phrasing is unmistakable as the same vocalist who sang 'The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down' and 'Rag Mama Rag.']

Robert Plant/Alison Krauss - Raising Sand ($13.99) [The musical collaboration of the decade, Raising Sand is the sound of two iconic figures stepping out of their respective comfort zones and letting their instincts lead them across a brave new sonic landscape. Despite hailing from distinctly different backgrounds, Alison Krauss and Robert Plant share a maverick spirit and willingness to extend the boundaries of their respective genres. This spirit, expertly honed by producer T Bone Burnett, has resulted in an album pitched three steps beyond some cosmic collision of early urban blues, spacious West Texas country, and the untapped potential of the folk-rock revolution. Supported by the unparalleled musicianship of Marc Ribot, Dennis Crouch, Mike Seeger, Jay Bellerose, Norman Blake, Greg Leisz, Patrick Warren, and Riley Baugus, Plant and Krauss -- as both solo and harmony vocalists -- tackle an intriguing selection of songs from such tunesmiths as Tom Waits, Gene Clark, Sam Phillips, Townes Van Zandt, The Everly Broth! ers, and Mel Tillis.]

Soundtrack - I'm Not There / O.S.T. ($14.99) [Featuring songs from and inspired by one of the year's most wildly-anticipated films, the double-CD I'm Not There collection premieres new interpretations of Bob Dylan songs performed by an eclectic cavalcade of acclaimed and celebrated contemporary musicians including Eddie Vedder, Sonic Youth, Jim James, Stephen Malkmus, Cat Power, Jack Johnson, Sufjan Stevens, John Doe, Karen O, Iron & Wine, Mason Jennings, Jeff Tweedy, Willie Nelson, Antony, Los Lobos, Yo La Tengo, Mark Lanegan, Rambin' Jack Elliot, Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova and more. ]

Thursday - Kill The House Lights ($13.99) [Kill The House Lights is a very interesting mix of new songs, demos, live songs and b-sides. Whether or not the purpose of the record was to show off the different dimensions and pieces of the band it really does. The styles and different tracks that the album has offer should appeal to all the different fans that the band has.]

Ween - Cucaracha ($13.99) [La Cucaracha, Ween's new studio record, is an eclectic, dark, humorous, and bizarre assortment of songs. In other words, it's a typical Ween record. These thirteen tracks, though strongly diverse, share a common theme: relationships. It's a theme that can be at once joyful, morbid, humorous, and often frightening. From the tenderly introspective 'Lullaby' to the disturbingly offensive 'My Own Bare Hands,' Ween pulls no punches in its latest endeavor, which acheives its power through sharp wit, clever songwriting, and brutal honesty.]

Neil Young - Chrome Dreams II ($12.99) [What we have here is easily Mr. Young's finest work in years, one that erases the memory of his well-intentioned but anemic 2006 protest album, Living with War. Recorded using analog gear, with Crazy Horse drummer Ralph Molina, pedal steel guitarist Ben Keith, and Rick Rosas on bass, CD2 manages to sound both home-grown and experimental. It's the work of an artist still not afraid to take chances, who also knows what his strengths are and doesn't stray too far from them. Trainspotters will note that three of the ten songs were written but never released before, while we all might puzzle over the title. Chrome Dreams is the name of an unreleased album from 1977.]

The entire catalog of the following artist will be on sale through next Tuesday (11/6/2007).
