	Jeff Buckley - So Real: Songs from Jeff Buckley ($10.99) [Import 14-track pressing features tracks from his two studio albums and includes two rarities, 'So Real' (Live and Acoustic in Japan - non album version/ promo single) and 'I Know it's Over' . (Previously Unreleased - Smiths cover from a session at Sony Studios that was edited for broadcast on WNEW on April 6, 1995. It was not included on the radio broadcast.) Other highlights include 'Last Goodbye', 'Forget Her', 'Everybody Here Wants You' and more. All of the tracks lifted from Grace are pulled from the remastered tracks that featured on the Legacy Edition. Sony.]
	Les Claypool - Fancy ($11.99) [In addition to being a virtuoso bass player for Primus, Les Claypool purveys his punk-funk sound in side projects like Sausage, the Frog Brigade, Oysterhead, Les Claypool and the Holy Mackerel, and his own solo career. This concert film captures Claypool in a live performance culled from his 2006 tour for that year's solo album, OF WHALES AND WOE. ]
	Corea Chick / Fleck Bela - Enchantment ($12.99) [Start with a pair of virtuoso musicians, two guys who have twenty Grammys between them but have worked together only sporadically. Add in the freedom to explore and create, and then turn them loose. That's the recipe for this exciting new Concord album, The Enchantment, featuring legendary jazz pianist Chick Corea and Bla Fleck, the banjo wizard known for pushing the boundaries of an instrument that's normally part of folk or country music.]
	Perry Farell Satellite Party Farrell - Ultra Payload ($11.99) [The ethereal artist's revelry of contributors to his latest project includes one-named artists Flea and Fergie, Peter Hook (ex-New Order), and a creepy posthumous appearance by Jim Morrison. That's right: leave it to Farrell, creator of rock festival Lollapalooza and some of his genre's most impulsive music, to dust off the Lizard King, whose healthy vocal slinks and slides beneath the baiting, rhythmic lyric 'Just try and stop us/We're going to love' (complete with a Ray Manzarek-like organ riff at the bridge). The novelty of 'Woman in the Window' will undoubtedly generate the most attention. But Farrell's Satellite Party leaves plenty more on the table, channeling the punk-and-metal command of Jane ('Kinky,' 'Insanity Rains') with some of the pop sparkle of his Porno for Pyros ('Hard Life Easy,' 'The Solutionists'), while tossing in a couple of choice covers to boot: Rare Earth's 'Just Wanna Celebrate' and the Bee Gees' 'Lonely Days,' recast as 'Mr. Sunshine.' ]
	LA Blues Alliance - What a life ($11.99) [BLUES SUPER GROUP....check out the line up...L.A. 	Lotus - Escaping Sargasso Sea ($12.99) [This live double CD captures the ethereal funk of Philadelphia's highly eclectic jamtronica band, Lotus. Deep, rolling bass, sensual rhythms, celestial guitar harmonics, and synth come together to form a new kind of soulful world/jazz/techno that is highly danceable and listenable. It's hard to pick a stand-out track, but the slinky 'When H Binds to O' best represents the meshing of all the instrumental band's influences.]
	Gabriel Teodros - Lovework ($10.99) [An Immigrant child who has seen both city and country, Gabriel Teodros is the everyday journeyman with more stories to tell than most people twice his age. Equally at home addressing political repression in East Africa or reflecting on the effects of patriarchy in his relationships, Teodros captures each moment soulfully with his unmistakable (north)west coast delivery. Having already made his mark on the NW hiphop scene, with 'Lovework' Gabriel Teodros is poised to drop an underground classic that will bring his sound to a global community. ]
	Jimmy Thackery - Solid Ice ($12.99) [Since co-founding the Nighthawks in 1972, this singer-guitarist's compass has pointed steadily toward the blues, but like 2006's In a Natural State collaboration with the Cate Brothers, this disc veers into roadhouse rock, country, and even jazz. Although it ends with a suite of three soulful instrumentals, including the Wes Montgomery-influenced title track and Jimi Hendrix's rarely covered psychedelic funker 'Who Knows,' Thackery's concentrated as much on songwriting here as his bruising guitar tones. He trashes the cult of celebrity in 'Hit the Big Time' and 'Fifteen Minutes,' dripping pure acid over riff-based grooves, and 'Blue Tears' is melancholy honky-tonk, sold by Thackery's thin, quavering voice and faux-steel-guitar string-bending. The spoken blues 'XXX Wife' plays marital collapse for laughs, but Thackery remains most articulate when he's picking.]
	Richard Thompson - Sweet Warrior ($12.99) [Literate rocker Richard Thompson's new album, Sweet Warrior, is a return to his classic electric sound, his first plugged-in album since 2003's The Old Kit Bag. Filled with 14 songs of stories of loss and betrayal, the album also contains one of Thompson's most overtly political songs to date, 'Dad's Gonna Kill Me,' told from the perspective of a nervous young soldier stationed in Baghdad (abbreviated as 'Dad' in the song). Richard Thompson is a consummate singer, songwriter, and guitarist. His career stretches back to the late '60s, when he was a founding member of the British folk-rock Fairport Convention.]
