Anchored by the classic folk-rock lyricism of veteran Southern California singer/songwriter Brook Lee, the Catastrophe, violinist Paul Mitchell, guitarist George Madrid, bassist Ryan Nakata, and drummer Mike Duncan- paints a musical landscape that counterpoints and enhances Lees words, filling in the picture with instrumental brushstrokes that merge the traditional with the experimental. Come celebrate the release of 'American Hotel' with a free live performance on Thursday July 29th at 5:30pm and then catch them later for their full show at the Axe & Fiddle in Cottage Grove!

		8/4/2010 Ferraby Lionheart   8/4/2010 at 7:00pm   Ferraby Lionheart was born in Los Angeles, but has lived in Nashville, Tennessee. He started recording songs on a 4-track recorder when he was 18. Through a mutual friend, Ferraby was noticed by producer/multi-instrumentalist Jon Brion, who invited him to play on-stage for a song. Ferraby never intended to have an EP at first, as he just had a collection of songs to see where his music was heading--and the fact that he had grown tired of writing songs for the band he was in at the time, Telecast (not to be confused with the Christian rock band of the same name.The self-titled EP was released in 2006, then re-released digitally in February 2007. On Tuesday August 3rd Ferraby Lionheart will be playing live for free at CD WORLD to celebrate the release of his latest album 'Jack of Hearts' in stores on August 3rd. This is Ferraby's only Eugene appearance!
